MA Human Resource Management (HRM)
This course provides you with an in-depth, critical understanding of contemporary and historical debates in human resource management (HRM). The course combines the theoretical knowledge you would expect at master’s level with the practical elements you will need to succeed. The programme is available in two duration modes: 18 months 24 months
This qualification is designed for learners who are typically aged 19 and above. OR; Bachelors degree or any qualification at Level 6 or 5 years managerial experience (evaluated on a case-by-case basis). The entry to Stage 2 of the programme is considered on a case by case basis for direct applicants.
Stage 1: (Delivered by LSPM) - Contemporary HRM - Leading, Managing and HR Development - Resourcing, Talent Management and Development - Performance Management - Employee Relations - Investigating a business issue from an HR perspective - (Successful completion of Stage 1 leads to progression to Stage 2) Stage 2: (Duration: 12 months / Delivered by university) - Research Methods for Business Management - Dissertation Project - (Successful completion of Stage 2 leads to award of Degree by the university)
The assessment is done via submission of assignment. There are no written exams.
